im shooting for bulk value, didnt see any 2 liter amino bottles hehe.. but yeah i just assumed i didnt get as much value with the liquid forms. plus when i read the ingredients of the ones i saw, they actually just cotain whey, what a rip. most amino products sold at retail stores dont even have free form aminos.

WOW, that primal EAA contains almost 5g of Luicine per serving!!

i went with the purple stuff cuz it seems like the best deal per serving. the primal stuff has like double the aminos, but i question if your body can use all of that at one time.

I've heard good things about Purple Wraath. Just a warning on it though- you may experience a "tingling sensation" when first using it due to its beta alanine content, though this shouldn't be anything to worry about. There seems to be a lot of promising research on beta alanine as a supplemental ergogenic actually.

thanks xeno, i didnt even know about beta alanine. but yeah from what i googled, it certainly looks promising.

Xtend totally messed with my focus when I tried it around a year ago. Maybe it's not for me. I'm willing to give it a another whirl in a few months or so. From what I've read though, I'm not the only one who had similar side effects.

so i tried grape wrath yesterday. it didnt taste as bad as another amino powder I had. the tangy aftertaste didnt sit well with me though. next time i might just mix it in with my grape juice. hope this doesnt destroy its content.
rather than testing with half a scoop, i just went with their recommended 2 scoops in water. I didn't notice any tingling and im still sore in the morning.
I'll still use it because its a decent value, but no obvious drastic improvements.
Max Muscle recently had a BCAA powder on their shelves. I can't seem to find it on their main website, probably because it's too new. I'm thinking about giving it a shot one of these days.
Xtend seems like a really good supplment but it's really pricey on shelves. Do you guys order for cheap online?

I've been using MRM's BCAA+G. I paid $60 for it and it has about 166 servings. I feel that it's been working pretty good. The only problem with it is that it will not mix in water, you just have to dump it into your mouth with water and kinda chew it to get it to go down.

i prefer tablets, the best type of amino is hydronized anything 70-80% (best type) would taste like death in powder, sad to say the amino powder that taste good are usually low quality

yeah i dont think u can get around the bad taste of amino powders. tablets dont look like theyre good value though.

bump....I want some input on this if anyone can say anything (Mr. President Wilson?).
I really want to try the Champion Nutri's Amino Shooter...yet 18 servings for $25 is pretty pricey, they might as well put the Muscle-tech Logo on it (okay, just kidding). But 90 servings for $50 for the Xtend sounds a lottttttttt better.

This product is a branch chain amino acid supplement w/ glutamine. The effects of leucine are better demonstrated when taken along with other essential amino acids which is one reason why the amino acid shooter is so good.
Xtend looks like a good BCAA supplement, however this isn't what is optimal here and isn't what the Amino Acid Shooter is. Try to get an EAA supplement for your pre-workout nutrition.

The price is actually very good for what you get!
The differences in this product vs. the Amino Shooter:

-----Primal EAA-----
Serving Size: 1 Scoops (18.18 grams)
Servings Per Container: 60
Amount Per Serving:
L-Leucine 4860 mg
L-Valine 2160 mg
L-Lysine HCL 2160 mg
L-Phenylalanine 1836 mg
L-Threonine 1296 mg
L-Isoleucine 864 mg
L-Histidine 702 mg
L-Methionine 486 mg

-----Amino Acid Shooter-----
Serving Size: 3 Scoops (19g)
Servings Per Container: 18
Amounter Per Serving:
L-Leucine 3,000 mg
L-Isoleucine 1,100 mg
L-Valine 1,100 mg
L-Lysine 1,100 mg
L-Methionine 300 mg
L-Phenylalanine 1,100 mg
L-Threonine 1,100 mg
L-Taurine 1.500 g
L-Histidine 700 mg
Creatine Monohydrate 5,000 mg
Glucuronolactone 350 mg

The main differences are:
Amino Acid Shooter------------------------Prima EAA
* Leucine 3mg--------------------------------4860mg
* Valine 1100mg------------------------------2160mg
* Isoleucine 1100mg--------------------------864mg
* Taurine 1500mg----------------------------*****
* Creatine 5g---------------------------------*****
* Glucuronolactone 350 mg-------------------*****
Important Questions:
* What effects of not having as much of an amount of the 3rd bcaa isoleucine as compared to its other two have?
* How beneficial is Taurine to the EAA's? - Wheres your carboxyl group buddy?? /forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I mix Prima and the Shooter. I consider taste a pretty important factor because I drink 4 amino ****tails per day. IMO the Shooter tastes FAR better than Prima (Prima tastes like lemon cough syrup). But the high leucine content is hard to beat.
