Are we better off taking an Omega 3-6-9 suppliment or 'Fish Oils'?
currently I use sawflower oil in my salad and use a suppliment called HealthBalance Omega 3-6-9. Just wondering if I should also be taking Fish Oils?
ingredients of my suppliment:
400mg borage oil
400mg flax oil
400mg fish oil
10IU Vit E
and some smaller quantaties of a bunch of other stuff.

I like to get my EFAs from every source possible, so I use flax, safflower, borage and fish oils. I also eat fish 3 -6 times per week, so some would debate whether or not it is neccesary to take these supps. If you dont want to ADD fish oils just cycle your current EFA supp with a fish oil.

I could add a fish oil supp, not really that expensive, just wondering if its necessary to have it on top of the Omega 3-6-9 supp

based on what I read, its a balance of omega 3 and 6 that counts, ideal being 1:10 or around there. however, because the way they feed cattle now, typical western diets get way more 6s than 3s. So I stick to just supplementing 3s, fish specifically because it has epa which is good for your brain n other stuff.
if i remember correctly, 9 are not necessary a efa as your body can construct it from 3s and 6s. could be wrong though.

Without going into a lot of detail, just taking fish oil is probably better.
