Do you guys thing these suppliments are important to take? If so, should they be taken regularly or just every once in a while?

Milk thistle is liver support and many feel this is important when taking certain/a lot of supps. Garlic has the same effect(correct me if I am wrong) and I know one of the featured BBers on this site uses it. I get alfalfa and LOTS of other greens from Greens Powders which I use regularly to detox(I believe this is very good for the body, some say not essential) and I know many other bbers that use greens powders/drinks regularly.
To address the frequency of use, I will use Milk Thistle year round, I do not use garlic but may start in the future(maybe cycle it with creatine), greens powders can be everyday, once a week, every other week or really as much as you would like(I would think less often on a bulk).

Garlic and Milk Thistle do the same thing? I purchased all three of these today and will be going on a bulk in a couple weeks. However if they do the same i'll just take one of them now, and the other when I run out.
