Do the same dosages need to be taken for Creatine Ethyl Ester products (i.e 20grams loading 1st week, then 10grams daily)?

The EE Creatine I picked up recommends 465mg per day which has 120mg of creatine. Should I ignore this and take the same dosages as monohydrate?

No, I would take the recommend dosages.

The problem with CEE is that optimal dosages, efficacy etc have not been established. In fact I dont know if I am aware of a single credible scientific study that has been done on the supplement. That is not to say that it does not work, its just to say to that as of yet no one has definatively and scientifically demonstrated that it works, how it works etc. Unlike creatine monohydrate, which has literally thousands of peer-reviewed article demonstrating its effectiveness.

Take it exactly as recommended on the container. I tried Cellmass recently, and correct me if i'm wrong but I think one of the main selling points on CEE was "no loading phase." So follow the instructions on the container.

YOu do not have to load CEE. Just take the recommended dosage.

The stuff I have says 2250mg before workout and after. No loading phases. I don't think you have to take it on off days either; at least this is what people are telling me.

mine says only before a workout.

but i don't know if that's just lifting, or if cardio fits into that as well.

Thanks for the replies.

2250mg sounds more reasonable than 465mg, I'm tempted to try around that dosage.

I haven't tried it yet but will keep you posted!!

Personally, I don't respond much to CM unless I take long breaks inbetween cycles and take 7-10g per serving. Whereas with the CEE I run 3g per serving (before and after WO), no loading, maintenance on off/cardio days (3g total). The effects: The same as only the best of my CM cycles, but at a lower cost-

CM- 1000g for 19.99-175g(load)/20g(maintenance)=41.25 days+ 5 day load= 46.25 days

$19.99/46.25= $.43 per day

CEE= 1,000g for 29.99/6g (maintenance avg. considering no off days)= 166 days

$29.99/166=$.18 per day

This is alot of savings, especially considering the consistent effectiveness of CEE, and doesn't even take into account the lowered dosing of off days.

Negatives- CEE will and is the worst thing you have ever put into your mouth. It is HMB mixed with sulfuric acid. I mix it with lots of water and am becoming used to the taste. I heard somewhere that if you take it with lemon-lime gatorade/mix you don't taste it at all.

Thanks TM40. The only thing that kills the HMB flavor for me is amino acid shooter. What brand are you using? Thanks again.

I buy the majority of my products with bulknutrition.com. I buy bulk 1,000g+ mono (for wife), CEE, HMB (until patent issues), glutamine, and glucoronolactone from them.
