Anyone found a consistently leakproof shaker? Preferrably one with a screen or something similar. I only have one and I use it pretty much everyday.
What do you use?

I can't say I've had trouble with shakers leaking (that I recall), other than a couple of occasions where I didn't have the cap on tight when I went to shake it up /forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif! But I did get a couple of DPS Nutrition shakers a year or so ago and the blue lettering continually stained my hands! /forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif

The Champion Shakers work perfect for me. I use them exclusively, now.

What's that screen for anyways?
I just use an eddie bauer water bottle that I use for anything else too.

It helps break up clumps of powder.
I just ordered one of these, I'll post when I try it out..

Please do! Looks cool, but you gotta wonder if it's more hype than anything.

If you swish around all the ingredients before you add water, this problem is non-existant...or are we not talking pwo here?

I assume we're talking about non-pwo shakes here. And believe me, Rocky, if you haven't used a shaker with a screen, you should try one. They definitely do a better job of making a shake than a shaker without.

Weird. Nothing I have in a shake ever clumps up. The only shakes I have though are whey, pwo, and amino acid shooters.
I had one that came in a box for free a while ago, but it broke after a few uses.

It's not that it clumps up, but the screen just makes the whey dissolve easier in my experience.

This thing is a piece! What a waste of money lol.
Anyway I'll just stick to the standard shaker with a screen. I had just heard a lot of leak stories from others. The fact that I dont have a dishwasher may help prevent warping or something..
Oh and shan I also got one of the regular DPS shakers and it hasnt yet stained my hand, just FYI /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Regular DPS shakers w/ the screen are good enough, but I have also had a few which stained my hands, something about the ink on some of those things after time. . .

I bought about 10 swett eddi bauer bottles. they are good but have no screen.
I skipped out on the screen stuff because the gnc shaker and the free ones I get from bodybuilding.com leak drips of protien on me when i drink through the part where the lid screws on.

I use a wide-mouthed Nalgene bottle for protein shakes. http://www.nalgene-outdoor.com/store/subcategory.asp?categorysubcategorycode=45
But to make it easier to drink out of, I use a straw. LOL - I must look like a loser at the gym. /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Back when I first started I was trying to find a way to down 1500ml of shake so I bought a Nalgene but I can't drink from that wide mouth and walk at the same time so to make my life easier, I mix up my PWS in a shaker bottle and then pour it right back into the 50 oz water bottle I used to make it with. I was like DUH, so easy that way.
On a side note, here in NY they sell this great water called "Smart water" which has some electrolytes in it. Same price as poland spring so why not.
