I'm using Green Bulge by Controlled Labs and I'm loving it. I'm on my third week right now and all my weights have jumped up 20lbs.
I was using Monohydrate before, and got good gains earlier on, but they started to taper (best came during the loading phase when I was taking in 20g/day).
Everyone who I've talked to who's taken CEE and Monohydrate has claimed that CEE is much better. I have to agree. The research on it isn't nearly as much as Monohydrate, but for some reason I feel better knowing that I only have to take about 2-3 grams of it instead of 10 grams of creatine to get the better results.
Lots of guys here probably swear by Monohydrate, but they probably haven't tried CEE. By that note, does anyone here (who's tried both) actually prefer Mono over CEE? Just curious.

I took CE2 for about 3 months and i saw an immediate boost in strength from mono creatine.
I am now trying to cell mass(a powder ester creatine). I prefer powders because i feel that they absorb faster and easier but, i don't have anything to prove that. I have been taking it for about 5 days. The only problem is that Cell Mass is flavored so i wouldn't directly combine it with flavored whey.
You get what you pay for. Is the additional cost worth it for the gains? depends on your budget for supplements.

Very true. Higher Power has pretty cheap Bulk CEE. I haven't tried it yet but heard good things.
Monohydrate is dirt cheap nowadays. We give small bottles for free at work.

Mono is cheaper than CEE. I'm sticking with the mono for now until the CEE price comes down. I've tried both an had the same results with both I'll just use the one that costs less.

How about that pure CEE taste, huh? /forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif I just got my first batch and man does this stuff tastes horrible. Gonna have to retrain my taste buds. Oh ya, is it true that you dont have to do loading on CEE?
I got mine from www.allthewhey.com. (http://www.allthewhey.com.) Anyone has any experience with their products?

I haven't been on the boards for a while and I thought I remember CEE being frowned upon by board members... has something changed? I think it was just the lack of experimentation. I've always been interested, however.

There just have not been any studies on it, all the studies that make claims promoting CEE are based on Cr Mono. However, anecdotally many people report good things about it. I have not tried it yet but may give it a shot one day vs. mono next time I use Creatine.

yes, it was only frowned upon here (i think) because there have not been any specific CEE studies done. There needs to be.

No loading phase. Take it 30 mins prior to working out and right after. You only take to take between 2 to 2.5 grams.
I think it's mainly frowned here because of the lack of scientific research on it. For most people here, they need the 'okay' from the mods to try out a new product. Not saying that's a bad thing though, it's just going to be awhile for a lot of research to come out on it because it's relatively new.
Like I said, I'm at the end of my third week on this stuff and all my lifts (which were pretty much the same last summer before) have gone 20-30lbs. I've been adding these weights while CUTTING (imagine if I was bulking!). No bloating, cramping, or upset stomach, either. I've been taking supplements for over 4 years now so I'm not chalking this one up to placebo effects.

This was taken directly from this site (http://abcbodybuilding.com/creatineindex.php) , and explains how to consume Creatine Monohydrate after the loading phase.
[ QUOTE ]
Maintain creatine thereafter, by consuming 5 grams in the morning and 5 grams post exercise. On off days, 5 grams in the morning should be consumed
[/ QUOTE ]
By using Estel Ester, we are eliminating the loading and automatically engage into the maintenance phase. The above tells us to consume 5g-10g depending on weather you train or not that day.
Now, the following was taken from Bodybuilding.com on the Higher Power CEE (http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/hp/ester.html) page.
[ QUOTE ]
Directions: Take 2.5 grams 30 minutes to one hour prior to training session. Continue water consumption throughout the workout. Add an additional 2,5 grams immediately after session for increased effectiveness.
[/ QUOTE ]
As you can see, the above tells us to consume is only on the training days. Now I'm thinking, why are they eliminating the morning creatine consumption? Now, what I'm thinking is the following.
[ QUOTE ]
Non Training Days: 2.5 grams morning
Training Days: 2.5 grams morning, 2.5 grams pre-workout
[/ QUOTE ]
I have come to the creatine gurus on ABC for my answer! So who's right? ABC? BB? -vincanity-?

I'm not sure where you're looking, but Green Bulge should be quite affordable.

Anyone know a good CEE creatine brand that I could buy?
Pill or powder!
Purest is best.

I prefer to buy mine from 1fast400, its cheap and they put out lab assays of each batch so you know what you are getting. To whoever was using cell mass...don't. They do not have any CEE in it, it is all monohydrate.
