What are your thoughts? I've been studying Jeremiah intensely and am noticing huge correlations between the state of Israel when they were dispersed by God and removed from their land and America's current backslidden state.

There are so many comparisons between the evils that Israel did that repulsed God and what we are doing today.

Murdering babies, Israel was sacrificing their children to false gods.

Fornication on the weekend, going to church on Sunday, and saying its ok, we're forgiven, abusing God's covenant.

Only 4% of American's tithe and say it’s not their problem that's done away with, hindering God's work.

Polluting God's church with evolution and gay marriage, mingling pagan religions.

Throwing God out of government, and replacing it with atheism.

How long will God tarry with us?

Figuring out where America fits into bible prophecy seems to be a hot topic with bible scholars.

Probably not much longer. With all the probalems in this country it is definitely looking like it is all coming down. Starting at the foundation. Im thinking another 20 years and the US will not be considered a superpower as we are today.

I may have said this before, but when I first started going to church, I wasnt sure which to go to. So I would ust go to 2 or 3 different churches every weekend. I am 21 so I would look around for people my own age. That is, people who are young but old enough that they werent being forced to attend church by their parents. Often I saw NONE.

The thing is we should be doing more about it.

Same thing was true of the world before the flood. God saw fit to destroy everything except Noah, his family and enough animals to re-stock the earth.

The thing to remember is that was BEFORE He sent Jesus as our Savior. I'm not saying that it doesn't matter what we do now because everything is forgiven, but I am saying that His promise to forgive us kinda conflicts with a belief that we're headed towards anihilation due to our actions.

It'll all change when Jesus returns and everyone will know without a doubt that He is who He says He is, even the atheists who deny the existence of any higher power, but I don't think that God is aiming at America for destruction and separation such as was the case with Israel.

I do think, however, that Jesus' return is imminent and may in fact occur in my lifetime. What a joyous day that will be!

It's like americans have the mindset that their country is invincible to the powers of God, yet God Bless America!!
