View Full Version : need help with my calorie \ carb\ fat \ protein intake...

ok well i've done some major research and i'm still having a hard time figuring out how much each day i should be taking in of everything, well except protein. i know its around 1 gram per pound of body weight.

i'm around 190lbs...5'7''...i'm "suppose" to be around 170lbs for my height but i just want to lose some body fat and then work on weight training. so my schedule right now is mon-wed-fri's are weight training days and sun-tues-thur's are my cardio days. hopefully this will provide some results i'm looking for.

anyways i came across this website at it calculates everything for you so i want to give you the numbers and maybe get some input on them. basically it boiled down to this word for word...

"You need 343.1 grams of carbohydrates, 90.6 grams of fat, and 137.2 grams of protein per day for 2744.7 calories to maintain your weight of 190 pounds.

You need 334.1 grams of carbohydrates, 88.2 grams of fat, and 133.6 grams of protein per day for 2672.4 calories to maintain your goal weight of 180 pounds."

any advice on these numbers?
