Hey,
So ever since I got to college I've been buying boneless skinless chicken breast from the grocery store, cubing it up, cooking it, then packaging it for the week.
My college has this "debit system" as part of the meal plan, something I haven't used because for the most part, its all fried food, etc.
Anyways, I went to one of the late night food places on campus last night, and they were frying chicken breasts on the grill!
It looks to me like they are just boneless and skinless frozen chicken breasts, but I'm not sure exactly what they PUT on the fryer...is it butter?
I use a little PAM(or whatever the equivalent is) at my apartment when I cook my own chicken breasts.
Does anyone know if bulk-purchasing of these chicken breasts from the food place would work? I was watching them and they put something on the grill, obviously; but I didnt' see what it was...I'm betting butter or something like it...so that would be no good.
Also, does anyone have an ALDI's food mart near them? I've always bought my chicken breasts from Wegman's, but I noticed that ALDI's has boneless/skinless...it is just frozen.
Would the frozen be nearly as healthy? I'm trying to cut costs any way I can here.
Just so everyone knows, I'm cutting fairly strictly right now if that information helps at all.
