Just got back from a retreat

I (a senior in High School) along with 15 others, lef about 100 juniors on a retreat in the mountains in order to grow closer to God and i just want to say that it was an amazing experience. During one part of the retreat, the juniors came up to us during silent song and prayer and told us their most inner prayers and many started crying. It was so touching to see the people that act tough at school humble themselves before God and others. It was great, just thought i would share.

that is nothing short of hardcore !Its allways wierd when that happens . I feel disillusioned when I see someone always trying to act cool or tough and seem like they are fitting in, and one day you realise what is really going on, and peoples inner thoughts and emotions are actually so similiar to my own :<

Thats awsome man, I went to north carolina on a retreat when I was about 17 and it was truly an eyeopening experience

Retreats are always a sweet treat. My church does not call it a retreat...it calls it an advance...Like Men's Advance, Women's Advance...

That is really cool.

It is hard to make the transition back to the everday life after an experience like that. :/
