Here (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,183607,00.html)

Basically, they subjected the caterpillars to different stimuli. They adapted... and this proves evolution lol.

LOL! They are totally confusing microevolution with macroevolution. Trying to make space for their theory bc they don't want to believe in creation...

Yeah, I wouldn't exactly call that evolution. That is like saying blonde haired girls are a different species than brunettes. That is like saying if an auburn haired girl sits out on the beach all day, every day, as the sun bleaches her hair to blonde, she is going through a mutation.

This is how you mimic evolution in a lab:

Place 1 million mice in separate compartments, with food placed up on the wall of their compartments out of reach, but accessible if they can 1) fly up and get it, 2) jump high enough to get it, or 3) somehow climb the wall and get it. Sooner or later, you have a couple of kangaroo mice who did squats all day every day until they could reach the food, a couple of flying mice who kept stretching and stretching and stretching and jumping off the ledge on the other side until they were able to glide over to the food, and a couple who kept sharpening their claws until they were able to climb the wall. All of the other mice just die. Of course, there is no guarantee that these mice's offspring will come out with the same characteristics. Most likely, the parents will have to teach them, from generation to generation, until an actual mutation occurs! All of a sudden, a mouse is born with one of these characteristics and no stretching or jumping or sharpening is needed to master the technique. He is one lucky mouse. He is revered as the Mighty Mouse, because he doesn't need to make any of the adaptations and all of a sudden, all of the other mice want to wed their daughters to Mighty Mouse, until he has his own harem and all of his offspring leave the other obsolete species in the dust.

The problem here is people will read this article and it will further concreate in there minds that evolution happened accross the board, this test didnt prove these creatures changed kinds or obtained new infomation, they just adapted with the current gene codecode they had and lost infomation. So all this proves God gives his creature kinds a large genepool of varity.

All that proved was the process of Natural Selection or survival of the fittest. The caterpillers adapted, they didn't evolve!!! It absolutely does nothing to remotely prove that I started out as a monkey!

With that theory, then we as bodybuilders are evolving everytime we grow new muscle as a result of the stimulus of weightlifting.

HAhaha they called THAT evolution.
They even mention the genetic code was already there.
LAME!
I get so tired of this crap -
sorry im venting.

I feel sorry for these folks spending millions trying to disprove God. What a waste of time and energy.

no kidding, I would think after enough time and money they would be like, "we give up, we did not evolve afterall" but I dont see any signs of that happening, despite the intelligent design guys destroying them in debates .

Right now there is a huge debate about ID in Ohio.

The editorials in the paper are hilarious.
But the lastest evidence for the evolution camp offered for their belief is that dogs produce a variety of dogs. It shows the general populations general lack of understanding about this topic.
