Prayer Request

I'm am asking for prayer warriors to help me fight a spiritual battle. I am going to be helping a fellow youth minister with a Disciple Now next week and am being overwhelmed with temptation. I can't do this on my own and know this from experience. I have a D-Now coming up a couple of weeks after this one and know it's a meeting for the youth here that is greatly needed. There will be great and powerful things happen, and to be frank. Satan is scared to death. He's attacking me to get me down with doubt and throwing things in my way like health issues and relational problems with my pastor.

Please help me. Call down God's protection of the students these two weekends.

Hey guys, thanx for the prayers. I just got back from the Disciple Now. It was awesome. I had four senior boys and all of them were into sports, lifting and bodybuilding. I printed of like 70 pages worth of stuff for them to read. Everything from the Cliff hanger workout to the Window of Opportunity article. It was great.

God moved their hearts in great ways. I opened up myself to them. I mean everything. From how to date to my struggle with porn. I was just as awesome to see the look in their eyes to hear from me that you guys were praying for this weekend and for them. I think this community just grew.

Keep me in your prayers as I am hosting a Disciple Now in two weeks, Feb 17-19, and the community I'm in has kids that don't care about a whole lot. I'm very excited about the men and women of God that are going to be here to help.

Especially pray for my guys. They aren't gentlemen and it's really wearing on me. I don't know why their parents gaurd them from all bad things and don't allow them to make their own mistakes and screw up. And they're all surprised when little Jimmy goes out and drinks and little Suzy sleeps with guys that'll give her attention.

It's a task only God is capible of handleing. I'm praying that the kids and myself will allow God to take control of our lives no matter how screwed up and out of control we think it is.
