Can my first meal of the day (whey.water.ice cubes.) also be my pre-workout meal? How long should I wait before I do my workout?

you really want your first and pre workout meals to have a complex carb...brown rice, oatmeal, sweet potatoe ( did i misspell it like dan quail?) /forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif

as far as the whey goes, that is perfect for first meal and pre workout

I would eat it 30 mins before workout

You must have a strong stomach /forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif. I'd wait atleast an hour, usually 1.5 hours myself. Otherwise I can't possibly have an intense workout without experiencing some gastrointestinal distress.

If you could add oats to this mix it would be much more suitable and be an appropriate first meal of the day and an appropriate pre-workout meal.

Oats, Whey, water blends really well in a blender and goes down easy.
