This is what God has put on my heart. Its the reason i have changed my hole lifestyle.


2 Corinthians 6:16 (New King James Version)

16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you[a] are
the temple of the living God. As God has said:


" I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people."[b]

So we are his temple he dwells within us!




Ephesians 2 :19-22

19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but
fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets,
Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole
building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,
22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of
God in the Spirit.

So he is continually building us. So should we not work on our body
and keep control of them. Was it his plan for us to be obese or out of
shape. or was that the path we chose for our bodys? Are we not created
in his image? Do we think God looks like the average overweight and
out of shape American? Now God is Glory and we should reflect that in
our bodys.



1 Corinthians 3:16

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit
of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will
destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

So here we see there is punishment for defiling the temple. So we
should be diligent with our bodys and offer them to him as a living
prayer!

thank you kokokolo. It has completly changed my life.

Ever since GOD has put this on my heart. I have lost 40 pounds put on abot 10 to 15 pounds of lean muscle.

I dedicate every work out to him. Telling him "Were rebuilding the temple. I may have let it get run down but it will be rebuilt in your honor and be more splinded than ever before." I am just useing his blueprint. He laid the desighns down and i just choose not to follow them exactly the way he wanted. Well i am changeing that! Its like he gave me a wonderful plot of land with all the materials to build a house and the blue prints. And for more than 13 years i have been deviating from the prints. Only working on it when i wanted. Ive been useing sub standard materials to build it with instead of the awsome stuff he provided me with. Well no more! this is to Glorify Him! Even if it takes me years to get where he wants me to be. Thats just how its going to be. Eat right, sleep right, and Work right.

I had just gotten tired of being a Christian and talking to people about Christ and trying to bring them to him. All the while they can see how much I care about the lords Temple. All they had to do was look down at my big ol gut! /forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif I just coudlnt do it anymore.

SO with his help and my work out/prayer sessions i should be on track within a year!
