i do 3 sets and 3 workouts for each body part, is that okay? i heard 4 sets are ideal because the first set is suppose to be a warm up set, can someone clearify this?
Their is no set amount of exercises or a rule for how many sets to do. In my opinion...
Exercises should be chosen for their purpose. If you want big bulging biceps then nothing beats barbell/dumbell/cable curls. But if you're trying to get some lower bicep growth adding in, or even doing exclusivlu, preacher curl work would be the idea. It all depends on goals
Sets: Well currently I am using DUP which involves a heavier, lower volume and higher rest day and another higher volume, lower rest and lighter weight day. But gernally most people stick with moderate 8-12 sets for large body parts, 6-8 for small bodyparts. Volume is relative though, when I was a beginner 8 sets for me was high volume but now that would be considered on the low end.

Don't limit your sets. But 3 ain't the right range in my opinion, the sets range ranges from "5-unlimited"
I have been trying to use many rep schemes and the most one that worked is to failure, and going beyond failure using some drop sets and rest pauses.

Yeah its all individual..Like today while working my biceps i felt like my normal 15 set routine wasnt doing it(so yes i need to change it up) so i did an extra 5 sets of 21 and 3 sets of static holds.

^ how can you do 15 sets within an hour? or even six on that matter
You can't do 6 sets within an hour? I suggest really tightening down on your rest times. An average time under tension (TUT) is 30 seconds, say you rest 30 seconds also for 6 sets, that should be done in under 6 minutes alone.
If you were doing 15 sets, then assuming that your TUT is again 30 seconds, and your rest between sets is also 30 seconds, that should be done in under 15 minutes.
Of course, if your training for strength you would increase your rest between sets. Although you could still train with low reps with minimum rest periods for hypertrophy rather than strength because a 6 rep set can have a TUT of 30 seconds just like a 12 rep set would, you simply slow down the tempo.
Hope that clears things up for you.

Yeah i do high reps, yet at the same time i may only rest 10-15 seconds in between sets and 2-3 minutes inbetween exercises
Yup, some of my best workouts have been done in under 40 minutes.
