Hi guys and gals.. I am in need of some suggestions to boost my caloric intake past 3000. It has been extremely hard to eat more. Any foods that contain lots of calories but still low in fat? Thanks

i suggest adding an extra meal to your daily diet in the form of a home made weight gainer shake.

If you have a blender put in a cup of oats, a scoop and a half of whey, a dessert spoon of natty PB and a banana. add some low fat milk and blend. This makes a really tasty shake, especially if you use chocolate whey, and can pull in an extra 600-800 calories into you daily diet.

It's 8:30am and now that I read this, I have a craving for a banana choc protein shake. Guess that will have to fit in somewhere in my day!

I'd highly recommend. I picked one up for 25EUR (apprx 30 dollars) and get som much use out of it. I use it for everything from my breakfast shake (oats and whey) to the MRP shake i described already, for mixing batter when I'm making pancakes, making fruit smoothies, it was one of my best purchases last year!

dosnt weight gainers have to much Sugars ??? I stoped using them...but I also hit a wieght plateau at 3000-3200 cals a day..and find it hard to find time to eat...id like to get me some more weight gainer...but it wasnt all that suggested overall. Maybe a weight gainer before bed kinda thing...and keep my whey for mornings and pwo ?

If you have a weight gainer, I would advise having it during the day.

Yes, they do contain a high amount of sugar, but can still be adventageous under certain conditions. Read more about this topic here, Champion Nutrition Super Heavyweight Gainer 1200. (http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/weightgain1200index.php)
