Hey Corey! Welcome!

I remember when i went to college and being worried about the freshmen 15. Just remember to stay healthy, eat right(stay away from the Caffeteria as much as possible /forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif ) and try to stear away from the alcohol. This isn't coming from a religious stand point, but I'm saying that because all my friends that started to drink in college put on weight because of how many calories are in the drinks(mainly beer) and you usaully have it pretty close to bed time when metabolism is shutting off. Now, I'm not saying you will/do drink, and I won't tell you that you shouldn't, it's just my opinion that drinking is one of the big reasons for a freshman 15, or more, attack. So, just my opinion. Keep a heads up!

Anyways, I'm glad you are here!

I noticed you live in California, whereabouts do you live?

Hi Corey22 and L0stsheep,

Being from the U.K. I am not familiar with the term "Freshman 15".

I take it this is the stone or so in weight you stack on due to excess pies and beer when you move away from home to university and make bad eating choices because you find yourself responsible for the culture shock of planning your own meals.

Am I right?

Corey22 - I hope you find it easy to keep training, plus the gym is a great place to meet new people in my opinion.

Take care

Corey, great idea. I definitely got the freshman 10 and then paid for it later on the rugby field. Just watch what you eat, still remember to have a good time, and run away when people are eating pizza. Best of luck to you.

Welcome, study hard. The better paying job you get will offer more time for you to work out later.
