I've had knee pain since I was in High School (~12 years). I'm trying to get back into shape as I am 50 pounds overweight. When trying to train my quads I am unable to do almost any excercise because of the pain in my right knee. Whenever I bend at the knee it feels as if gravel is in between the bones of my leg. Is there anything I can do for this? I've never been to the doctor about it as the pain in every day life is not that bad but the second I put any amount of weight on it in the gym the pain is horrible.
