Just registered today.

You guys/girls seem like a really nice bunch. It should be fun to learn from you all.

A little info I think would be good:

I play lacrosse for my school's team. I really like that, lots of running and excersize. Though, it is summer so there isn't really any besides a summer league.

I work out at Gold's Gym with a couple members of my team. Mainly one right now, the only other one with motivation I suppose.

Right now we're working out 5 days out of the week-

Small cardio before each workout ..day.. thing.

Day One- Chest, triceps
Day Two- Back, biceps
Day three- Shoulders, legs, abs

Then repeat that excluding weekends and that is pretty much what we're doing right now.

Other than that, I'll prolly get my height, weight, etc...maybe pictures sooner or later, and keep a journal too. Once I figure it all that stuff out anyway.

I hope to be able to contribute to the site after I learn a bit more. I don't want to just throw useless stuff in right now.

Cya.

Welcome to the site theres lots of great info here read as many of the articles as you can!!

I would recommend this in particular:

Also, with regards your current workouts, it is not entirely optimal to do weight training immediately after cardio. Cardio will lower muscle glycogen stores meaning there is less energy available to really get through alot of work with weights. It is advised to keep cardio and weights 6-8 hours apart.

Indeed; in fact, Wilson, Wilson, and King (2005) will be releasing one of the most historical articles ever on specificity and practice variables, which can be applied to ALL sports! /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif
