Wanted to check in and say hello. I just got into Iraq, and have nothing to do but kick ([---]), eat, and lift massive ammounts of weight. I am weighing in at a "whopping" 185 lbs. at 6'2. I'm what you would call "spread out".

I'm looking to put on around 20-25 solid pounds while I'm here. I'll try to keep you all updated. Oh yeah this web site ROCKS!!!!!!!

Welcome aboard! /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I am curious how your diet is over there. I imagine they only feed you 2-3 times a day and you are constantly on the move. Tough environment to put on mass.

It is extremely tough to put on mass. Your correct we only get fed 3 meals a day. The DFAC (Dining Facility) is extremely good in providing high energy foods though. I do what I can.
As soon as I wake up I pound down a protein shake. And I mix some Creatine and Glutamine into a gatorade and pound that down.

For breakfast I am eating 5 hard boiled egg whites, two fried eggs, a bowl of oatmeal, two english muffins and some fruit coctail.

For lunch I eat any kind of chicken I can get my hands on, a pile of pasta, and a HUGE tuna salad. Followed, by another protein shake (ProLab N-Large2 56g concentrated whey).

For dinner I eat pretty much the same as lunch. I just keep eating until I am so full I feel sick. Followed, by another protein shake.

In between each meal I eat whatever I can. We get "moral" snacks sent to us, like "Otis Spunkmeyer" muffins, and fruit. All the while I'm battling possibly the quickest metabolism on the face of the planet.

I'm doing everything I can!!!!

I just arrived and have no return date at the moment. At LEAST 4-5 months. But again I'm not really sure.
