Hello everyone! I'm a realatively new poster and have a simple question. If a person sends a PM to me...how am I to respond? LA?

You can't respond until you are a member and have at least 150 posts.

"Hello everyone! I'm a realatively new poster and have a simple question. If a person sends a PM to me...how am I to respond? LA?"

Welcome to ABC TFairBank. /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You can't use the private message feature and the members discussion forum until you achieve 150 posts.

Quote from Forum Rules (ABC's Forum Rules)

Membership Privelages-

In an effort to keep this site a quality sourse of information, we have implemented membership privileges.

The ABCbodybuilding site, and monthly research journal, are completely free (The Research Journal can be found in the blue index tabs at the top of the screen). All we ask of our members is to contribute back to the community of which you are a part of.

ABCbodybuilding is a membership site, as such membership protocols are enforced in the following areas:
# Potential Members will not be able to use the private message feature until they have reached 150 posts.
# Potential Members will not be able to post in the "Members Corner" forum until they have reached 150 posts.

These privileges will not only help the site remain a quality haven for only the most elite and serious athletes, but will also cut down on spammers and other immature actions on the boards.
# The "Member Corner" Forum

The "Members Corner" forum, is a priveledge for those who contribute to the atheletic areas of this site. It is not for members who do not contribute to the rest of the site. If we find this to be the case, we will utilize probation, or banning.

Probation entails the inability to reply in the "Member's Corner" or make use of the Private messaging system.

It is important to note, that this is a private site, and most importantly a membership site. And that means, only those who's main purpose is athletisism can be here. The recreation forums are for contributing athletes. Not those whose sole intention is to argue about social issues and contribute nothing to the body building aspects of this site.

# Contribution Rule - If any moderator feels you are not here to contribute to the athletic aspect of the site, you will be banned.

This is a site for serious body builders, not those who contribute nothing to the athletic aspects of this site.

This is a membership site for those serious about training and enhancing one's knowledge in regards to body building. If body building is not your main reason for being here, you will be banned. And, we will ban quickly for new potential members in which it is obvious are not here to contribute to the athletic aspect of the site.

Again, ABCbodybuilding, is not for the non-contributer of the body building aspects of this site.

And this is perhaps our most strict rule!
# No solicitation or advertising is to be done in any way shape or form. Anything even percieved in this light will merrit immediate banning.

I think it was more of a rhetorical question, aimed at those who send PMs to us newbies, so they don't get offended through lack of a reply. /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

you got it Pete!!! But anyways... Hello to you all, I've gotten alot of great info from here and I'm looking forward to achieving the goals I set for myself. Along the way I'm sure I'll ask stupid questions and I won't get too offended with the "do a search".

Take care!!

Hi Fairbank, thank you for your kind words!

Yes we do have a rule that new members acquire 150 posts to become full members. We want them to focus on training and nutrition. Without the rule we found many people signing up just to hang out in the member's corner, which isn't the primary focus of ABC.

All admininstrator's e-mail are in our sigs, our articles, and the forums.
