I have this pain in the sides of each of my forearms about 4-6 inches straight down from my pinky. It feels like a deep bruise when i touch it, but otherwise i rarely feel it with just normal day-to-day activity. It does hurt, however doing any type of curl EXCEPT reverse grip curls, whereas it will not bother me. Preacher curls are the worst.

edit: I should also add the pain feels amplified after setting the bar (curl bar or straight) down after a set. It kinda feels like it shoots through my hands.

Help is very much appreciated
Thank You!

I had something similar only in the left side. It healed very slowly but after 2-3 months I was ok. Didn't really bother me only i couldnt do wrist curls

Do you remember when or how it started?

Sounds like tendonitis in the forearms. It will go away pretty fast, but you should rest it for now.

Try sticking more with dumbbells and the cambered bar and you shouldn't have any problems. The issue usually arrives when your forearms/grip strength is not up to par.

go easy on it...sounds like you've damaged a tendon in your right arm.
