My physio therapist says I have a triceps tendonitis. He says it's pretty rare, and that it probably stems from the fact that my whole left side is messed up. I don't have proper sinking of my clavicle when I raise my arm, my pelvis is twisted, and for some reason I have huge muscle tone on my left side, the deep tissue massagin kills this (it's extremely more tender on my left side). He says I have put pressure on my radial nerve in my neck, causing a high tone on my triceps tendon which is pulling on my triceps.

Does this sound right to any professionals around here?

He says I should notice some results in 4-6 weeks. And that tendonitis is usually pain to get away but doable.

I was referred to them by my doc, they are private and work with all the local sports commitees.

Anyways after my first massage my triceps kill, and even more sore my nerve or soemthing feels sensitive, is this normal?

I've experienced this before, and it does go away, if you take proper care of it.

He needs to put you in physical rehab as well, to teach you how to stretch the triceps and how to execute proper form.

Man, is this expensive? He has so far been teaching me how to exercise the rotator cuffs properly, and the 4 internal muscles, like the transverse abdominus, motifisis, etc....

If I can't afford this physical rehab am I screwed? How much does it cost, and is it possible to rehabilitate it myself. Final questions how long did it take you to get better, and how long should I wait to use my tris when working out?

To be honest, if you look further down the track I would stop working out anything that does any more damage to it, and let it recover. Otherwise if you cannot get the physical treatment, then yer you might be screaed for life. So make the most of it now and take your time to get it fixed!

Stop doubting your Physio-teraphist. If you don't have faith in what he does, then results will be minimal. Let him do his things and the results will speak for themselves, if not, you can always sue him ^:^
