something in my armpit hurts me

something in my left armpit hurts me.I think that pain started during bench pressing or some other chest exercise.It hurts me when I touch it and when I am moving my arm. is it gland or what? how can I prevent that injury and what can i do now?

i would see a doctor. cause although we have a welth of info here on the site. none of us are doctors, or could even give the right advice just from hearing about it.
