So I'm having some serious pain in my wrist and lower forearm when I do regular wrist curls. It's fine with a really light weight, but whenever I up the weight to fail between 10-20 reps, I have to stop. Is this kinda normal? Should I just keep using lower weights to work on it, or replace with a less painful exercise like Behind the Back Wrist Curls?

I had this pain in my left wrist while doing wrist curls and I got worried about it, but a couple weeks later it just went away. I know this doesn't help, but it was quite an uplifting experience to have an injury just go away for once.

I get pain in my wrists also, I've been looking into getting lifting straps specifically for it but haven't as of yet. I think they'll take care of my pain because it's a real joint pressure type of pain cause my wrists aren't used to lifting such heavy weight.
