see i never had a knee injury... my knees have just been bothering me a lot lately (like its hard to squad in a catchers stance or kneel). so i went to the doctor and he said that it may be inflamed or a build up or something. he recomeneded ibuprofin (same as advil right?) three times a day and to work on the muscle right above my knee (my quads, the teardrop id assume). i already workout my legs so i was gonna start takin advil a few times a day....

but now i hear that may not be good for you and that there are better options. ive read about glucosamine??? any other suggestions or is that the best reccomendation around. i know glucosamine is for joints so maybe that would be my best bet.

any suggestions welcome

I would suggest trying glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM. Worked wonders for my knees. Downside is that it takes awhile before you can start feeling it. Atleast give it a try, it won't hurt your.

Right now Kirkland Signature, got it from Costco. Its not the best, the liquid is spose to work wayyy faster, but at the time I didn't know that. I know glucosamine comes in liquid form, not sure if MSM and chondroitin do though.

I've heard a lot of good things about this product called Exomine. It has glucosamine, chondrotin, MSM, and some other ingredients.

Exomine seems expensive for whats in it. I would have to read more about the ingrediants other then Glucosamine, Chondrotin, and MSM. I only seem to see any reviews for it by places who are selling it, so those can't be trusted at all, its not like they would bad mouth a product they are trying to sell.

I found this review of Exomine from the US Medical Research Organization. Here's the link:
