Right now I have another splitting headache from drinking just over a gallon of water. I know that more is suggested for someone my size than a gallon, but I have found if I do not limit myself to 1/2-3/4 of a gallon (or less not including PWO) of straight water that I get a splitting headache. Is it possible that impurities in the tap water I am drinking are causing this? I am at a complete loss, as at times I thought it was because I still did not have enough water in a day but if I drank more I would start to feel physically ill. Any thoughts anyone can add?

Are you using the same bottle/galon everytime ? Is it the type of cheap plastic ? If yes, that might be your problem. Throw them. There are some bacteria in plastic bottles if you use the same a couple of times.

Get your water tested for impurities...there is no way you should get headaches from water consumption unless you are chugging a gallon of it ice cold...Brainfreeze...

I reuse my water bottles, but I rotate them every week and wash them once a day. By rotate I mean throw right out, and buy new ones. Perhaps it might be worthwhile to keep them out of "rotation" and just throw both my PWO bottle and water bottle out once a week.
