Well heres the rundown. I originally hurt my back about 3 years ago maxing out deadlifting for football. I tried the chiropractor but I always just ended up with the same pain sooner or later. I don't know what else to do. My insurance won't cover visits to the dr and I don't want to ask my parents for the money.
The biggest problem with all of this is that my low back pain is killing my leg workouts. What were once my best bodypart, have fallen. Squats are what do it to me(form is perfect). I should be doing 315+ for reps but even after 2-3 sets of 135 I am in pain. To make matters worse, my college gym doesnt have anything else for quads other then extensions. I have been doing lunges, step ups, static leg presses(machine doesn't have enough weight) and 1 legged DB squats as much as I can. I'll try starting with squats at 135 but the pain starts from there and holds me back the rest of the workout. I can't just take a break because I plan on competing in Sept. and can not afford time off.
I've tried hyperextensions to strengthen but even after 2-3 sets of that my back flares up in pain /forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif I don't know what else to do.... I know this is hard to give advice on but I am just looking for anything to make things even a little better. /forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif
