Hormone Question... think you can help?

Ok now here is a question for someone who knows hormones and the body well perhaps. I used to be energetic with a high sex drive and it seemed like all the energy and especially the sex drive just dropped .. I used to have sex at least 1-2 times a day every day and then it just dropped out of nowhere to around like 2 times a month .... its not a problem with the way it works its just the desire isnt there much anymore. I could understand this if there was a slow drop but now when i look back at it it was very fast .. like in a month.
So anyhow I am thinking that my testosterone has dropped and I have done no steroids at all and I am now 23 as well... and the reason why I am thinkin that it is test. is because shortly after ( like 2 months maybe) I noticed somethin got checked out and turnned up that I have a varicocele vein. Now some sites say that it might interfere with test. production but the guy I went to see says that it wont .. well I dont believe him cuz this just seems too close together to be coincidence. I just dont see how it couldnt affect that bein located where it is and all ... some sites I have read say that it can even affect both umm nuts too.
So maybe someone else has had this problem or heard other wise or know more about the subject than I do. any help would be good ... but I getting kinda tired of docs tellin me that wont cause it. I think they`re full of it. /forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif

How many doctors have you seen about this?

I got diagnosed by one doc so him and all of the other nurses that referred me to him say the samething .. they all seem to think that its just a dialated vien .. which it probably is ... but they say that it affects fertillity mainly and the only time people get them removed is if they are trying to concieve .. well I`m thinkin that if it can affect that then why can it not affect test production too?
