Sometimes I get a pain in the palm of my hand when doing dumbell presses, it feels like it's being stretched possibly. What would cause this and how would I remedy it?

I dont know if I really understand what you are saying it feels like...
But have you tried gloves?
I have this same pain in my palm, but only when barbell pressing. It happens occasionaly and both with and without gloves.

Yeah I usually experience that too, but I just ignore and keep pressing. Does it affect your workouts?

It has happened to me a couple of times but you get used to it.

Hmmmm. Seems it might be relatively common. I think it may just be a stretching of the ligaments in the hand. It can be distracting at times, which is why I asked if there was a way to remedy it.

You can probably try stretching, like pull back on your fingers and stuff. Just do crazy stuff with your fingers to warm them up. It might help you out there.
