Scientists Don't Know F-All About Steroids (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=97&ncid=97&e=2&u=/hsn/20050129/hl_hsn/scientistsexplorerisksposedbysteroids)
If I see Lyle Alzado's statement one more time, I'm going to take enough orals that my liver explodes and kills me on the spot. The press accepts hearsay evidence from non-scientists and "That one guy" as the basis for articles on steroid use. And to be frank, I still haven't seen anything on the subject that was any different, except for several discussions on t-nation.
Accepting the statements of random people who took steroids as "what happens when you take steroids" is like me telling you that since I started taking turkey bacon, my squat rocketed up over the last six months. It's awesomely stupid. How many variables are there, now, really?
I don't understand why it's so hard to set up a REAL SCIENTIFIC STUDY and control the conditions? In the meantime, I wish people would shut the crap up and quit talking about THE ONE GUY.
