Hi guys, recently i've been trying to stick to a very strict bulking diet and so the other day at a grocery store i decided to pick up "dry curd cottage cheese". Compared to other CC's this one had 7g more protein and 3-4g less carbs. So i reluctantly chugged it down (doesn't have the greatest taste) as part of my pre-bedtime meal and the next morning i wake up with a really bad sore throat. A couple of days later i start feeling a flu coming on. I am positive that this is not a coincidence because i haven't gotten the flu in almost 6-7 months and since this incident i've noticed that when i eat this dry cottage cheese, my throat feels really bad the next morning but when i refrain from eating this particular CC, my throat feels much better. Could it be the dry texture of the CC thats causing this? (I do drink water along with my meals)
BTW the ingredients listed on the CC are Skim milk, bacterial culture, microbial enzyme
Thanks

Was it rotten?
Aside from that, it may be some form of allergic reaction, and if that is the case I would stay away from it.
How many times have you had this particular brand?

It wasn't rotten. I ate it well before the expiration date and it didn't smell at all. I used to eat this brand before, used to get sick alot but i didn't think it was from the CC. Anyway, the brand name is Dairyland. The 1 and 2% CC i buy are usually from the same brand.
Thanks
