so i got my stuff in today and i opened up the ON chocolate flavor whey. So i took some water about 12-14 oz of it, a big spoon full of natty pb, and a scoop and a half of the whey, a couple ice cubes and i shoved it in a blender. It was alright, pretty good little chocolate flavor and a little peanut butter too. Now my question. Is there anything i did wrong? (remember this is NOT a pwo shake) Is there any other methods? amybe you guys can list specifically what you put in your non-pwo shake. it was not a pre workout shake either. It was just a small shake during the day. Ya so if you guys could post maybe what you guys do for your shakes and amounts and procedure i think it'd help me get this shake thing figured out. Thanks!

add some oats and you got a power shake with carbs/proteins/good fats.

Check out a recipe I posted:
http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/forum/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=1023716&an=0&page=0#1023716

It's all natural and has about 700 calories in a 16-ounce glass.

It's indeed a healthy fat, flax oil would be a better source of omega-3, though.

Canola oil is basically a concentrated source of mono-insaturated fats and omega-9. Just be sure it's natural and hansn't been processed or hydrogenated.

If fruit is allowed in your diet you could add one small banana to the shake. I often have meal replacement shakes of 3/4 cup oatmeal, 2scoops choc whey, i dessert spoon natty PB, and a small banana, some ice, then blend!

Thank you all for your input. Does anybody have a shake recipe for a smaller shake maybe with less calories? Not trying to be annoying.

Just modify the above recipe. If you are cutting, drop the banana, use just a half cup of oats, 2 scoops of whey, just a heaped teaspoon of PB and ice.
