How do you work these out?

Say my P/C/F ratio was 245/402/127, how would I get that into a percentage out of 100?

Your total calories are 3731.

Calories from proteins : 980 / 3731 * 100
Calories from carbs : 1608 / 3731 * 100
Calories from fats : 1143 / 3731 * 100

Your ratio is : 26/43/31

** Note: I used * 4 and not * 4.1

What did you have to do to get that info?

There are 9 calories in every gram of fat, and 4 (or 4.1 /forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif ) in every gram of protein or carbohydrate, so multipy your number of fat grams by 9 and divide by total calories then *100 gives you your percentage of 100 of calories from fat.

Calories from fats : 1143 / 3731 * 100

127g fat * 9 = 1143
1143/3731 = .31????
.31 * 100 = 31% cals from fat.

Ok, I get it now.

When I took down my calories from the labels, I got 3630?
