What lifts are you using it for? I think most on this site will tell you to NOT wear a lifting belt.

I plan on using it just for bent over barbell rows, as I have feld lower back pain while doing drop sets of these.
my lower back only hurts after the 2nd drop so maybe I need to work on my lower backs endurance some....

The belt will take you lower back out of the equation. Therefore, not strengthening your back. Work on your core strength.

Id still like to know so i can try it out, I paid for the thing ;/
should it be real tight ?
I use a belt but ONLY on HEAVY lifts, usually over 200lb. It should be worn tight to keep your back secure becasue if it's lose it doesn't help so you might as well go without it.
All in all it's a great training tool just like deadlift straps. But just like straps if you want your body to adapt and get stronger only use it in moderation otherwise you will become dependent on it.
