Does anyone have any tips for preparing meals in advance. I will be eating two meals at school - together including chicken breast, brocolli, sweet potato, tuna and rice. Is it possible for example to cook 6 chicken breasts on Sunday, and then store them in a fridge/freezer, to then just grab them each morning? Sam goes with the other foods? Im quite sure tuna cant be stored for too long after opening, so maybe if I opened it the night before, that wouldnt be too long to leave it?
Any tips would be appreciated, because my Mum isnt going to prepare my meals every morning anymore!

I do this every Sunday(well, my wife does for me). Keep them in the freezer. Then simply when leaving for work, take out the needed meals and put them in my cooler. Microwave when time to eat.

i prepared most of my meals for the next day at night, and leave anything that might go bad overnight for the morning..just have to wake up 10mins earlier to get it all set for the day.

Would it be okay if the foods were in my school bag rather than a cooler?

Depends if they need to be refrigerated or not. Storing thawed (formerly frozen) vegetables in plastic containers shouldn't be too bad if proper moisture is kept in the sealed environment though you shouldn't keep it in there ALL day. Other foods such as oats, tuna, whey, natty peanut butter, etc should be fine as well. If storing meats I'd suggest keeping them in at least some kind of aluminum foil.

boiled eggs are another useful, portable food source. I usually boil up a dozen on a sunday evening, cool them and then de-shell them. then bring 3 or 4 with me each day for the next few days.
