View Full Version : Start squat all over again?

I have found out that I am not going down far enough when I squat. I still need an inch or so. My max squat was 320 should I start all over at 135 so my legs get used to going that much farther down.

yeah definately start low and work up gradually to prevent from injury

Yep. Use a box to get yourself accustomed to the new squat depth variation.
i agree. box squats are the best way to discipline your form on the squat.

that's as far as you need to go, any farther and it's really just working your glutes and putting lots more unneeded stress on your knees

Wow are my legs tired! They are shaking as I walk and when I am sitting. I was able to do 205x5 going parallel so it wont be too long before I am back where I was.
