Hi All

Being fairly new to the bodybuilding scene, I am not too sure on whether the protein products I use are the best, or any good. I would therefore like your opinion on the matter.

I am currently using USN's Muscle fuel dynamic which has the following nutritional facts:

I use one serving in the morning for breakfast and another round 4pm before I leave work. I train at 6pm.

After gym, normally round 7:30 or 8pm, I then use a different protein shake called Pure Protein also from USN, followed by my dinner. I try and minimize mu carb intake here.

I am from South Africa. Over here USN is very popular. I also use their Glutamine, Creatine, CLA and lastly ZMA products. I am still trying to get my hands on Malt and Dex.

As an alternative to Dex and Malt, I currently use Glucose Gel from USN as well in my post workout shake.

Now some questions:

Please give your opinions on:

1. the protein shake I use...
2. The times of the day I take it...
3. I usually follow my post workout shake with my evening supper. Also, I tend to down my shakes very quickly.... is this bad?

Look forward to your opinions all!

Regards

HB

It's not likely that the carbs in the first shake are ones that you want to be having. Can you just use the pure protein product and add oatmeal to it?

Your post workout shake should be consumed half immeditaely following your workout and then sip on the rest over a time period of 30-45 minutes...
