ZMA chewables?

I read in one of these threads that they sold chewable ZMA somewhere, but I don't remeber where.

Could someone tell me where, and if it is as effective as the pills?

Don't waste your money on the stuff at GNC, make your own ZMA. Bottle of Zinc and a bottle of Magnesium should be around $11. Make sure your magnesium is 400-450mg, I'm stupid and I didn't pay attention to that.

RGKfit mentions taking them, and that they are absorped faster due to sum of the ZMA constituents dissolving on the tongue and hitting your bloodstream straight away.

the stats seem to read more or less the same as pills.

actually i've just read the ingredients of the chewable ZMA and, as i thought, it's got some additives adde to it to make it taste better (no point selling something in chewable form if its taste horrible eh?). it contains fructose and sucralose, which you dont really want absorped in your blood stream, especially that late at night.
but the choice is there for you.

I've thought about what you said to me in the other thread, and I went out and bought some mini m&m's to practice swallowing /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'll eventually get accustomed to it, but till then, I can't give up my ZMA.

LOL....I am glad you are around! 30-45mins prior to your pre-bed meal. although the slightly faster absorption rate of the ZMA due to the chewing might have to be considered.
