Im trying to lose weight, and yes ive looked ath the 13 weeks to body building thing.

Right now im doing the eliptical, a good hour a day (1000 calories it says on the machine) Sometimes 2 times a day.

I was wondering if there are any other activites I could do that could help burn some calories.

Right now on my diet im losing a good 1-2lbs a week. So Im thinking by doiong the elliptical, i can get maybe 3 a week.

So what are some other things I can do? I was thinking jump roping, but I have bad ankles so I was told that might not be the best for me.

Iwas also thinking of getting a punching bag, bc I heard that doing that is great exercise.

Any advice would be awesome, and again Ive read the 13 weeksto workout and I really dotn care about muscle right now, I just want fat off.

Im 6'3", 311lbs, and my main goal is 250.

Thanks

i find i lose TONS of weight just by running and upping my intake of leafy greens. also the punching bag is a great idea as well. but first and foremost i recommend sprints, or fartlik style running. they work the best (for me of course).

I thought 2lbs a week was a good safe amount of wgt to lose per week?

Swimming, is an awesome excersie if you have bad ankles!! I fully recomend it for anyone as it keeps you lean and is a great way to lose weight.

Try swimming something like 20 lenghts all on 1 min, and gradully, lower the time or increase the distance

good luck, and well done on what you have a llready achieved so far
