Just wanted to run by this someone and see if it's suitable for a night time shake on a bulk. Since I started having this, I put on more weight. Not sure it's good or not /forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

1 Cup Cottage Cheese
1 Scoop of Whey
2 tbsp of Peanut Butter
1 tbsp of Flax Seed Oil
8 oz of 1% Milk

I will do the macros on it soon.

It looks pretty good. What are the stats on that 1% milk?
Also you may want to take out the peanut butter and up the flax.

Any complex vegis in that last meal?

Lookin good....GOOD LUCK ON BULK

do you want to drink a casein shake right before bed even if you are not on a blk? I dont want to gain any weight, mabe even lose some, but my tum growls at night if I dont eat within 1-2 hrs before bed time, even wakes me up sometimes, "growl!!" it says.

of course. Casein protein will supply your sleeping body with about 6-8 hours of constant protein delivery, which is essential to keep you anabolic and from eating your own muscles.

I always have cottage cheese in my last meal but lately have contemplated getting some casein protein or as many brands call it, "PM Protein." to take RIGHT before I hit the sack, since I don't go to sleep imediately after my last meal, and only some much protein is in CC.

maybe your last meal should be lean protein with some veggies then have your cottage cheese right before bed. does that make sense?

i just meant that my last meal and pre sleep meal are two different meals.
