I have a 2lb tub of creatine anhydrous from syntrax that expired 07/04(never opened)... My bro gave it to me for Xmas:P
I just started loading it 3 days ago and have yet to notice anything. Im drinking around 9 litres of water per day. My roomate has some creatine monohydrate and his is very powdery and smooth where as mine is chunkier. Is there a difference between texture because of the brands or is my creatine bad? Im not mixing it Im just taking it straight then chasing it with water btw

I belive if it goes all lumpy then its bad, my creatine and each creatine I have used is a very fine texture.

I think I remember Joe saying somewhere that the only time creatine goes bad is when it goes lumpy, which means water has gotten to it. When water mixes with creatine it forms creatINine, which is useless. He advised putting the powder through a really fine sieve and it should be fine.

I THINK he also said the bottom of the bottle might be alright if that isnt lumpy, so throw out the top and use the bottom.
