ok, i don't want to get into my backgrund ,but a few years back i broke my neck that basicly forced me to start benching with 15lbs and working my way up.

i can bench max about 170, my goal is my next year May 20 ,2006 to have a 275 bench max, considering i eat right, and such and train correctly would this be possible?

if so can you help me with a routine for chest for building strength. thanks in advance

From injury and 15lb to 170lbs you should be very proud. Good work!

Have a look at the 8 weeks to bigger pecs under workouts; it worked good for me in terms of strength largely attributed to a changing of BB to DB for inc and flat press every two weeks and its various tequnicques for getting max tension. It is a BB workout not a PLifters workout but I saw nice streangth gains. Hope this helps!

Make sure to blow the living hell out of your triceps too. Benching, according to that article bsimpson gave you, is 2/3 tricep strength. Might want to look into a strength training.
