On side lateral raises, do I raises my arms up above my shoulders, or do I lift my arms up so they are completely straight and parallel to my shoulders?

They only pictures I've seen of one is here:
Standing Lateral Raises (http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/excercise/standing%20lateral%20raises.htm)

The slideshow shows the arms above parallel, but they aren't called "side" lateral raises.

In my shoulder workout Shoulder Blitz they say side lateral raises and they show a picture that looks different than the slideshow.

Raise your arms until the upper arms is parallel to the ground. If you go above this, you turn it into a trap exercise.

they are both the same. the slideshow is shown from an upward angle, so the arms and dumbells appear to be higher.

keep raising...until a stretch is felt in the side delts...if the arm raises in such a manner, that traps are felt....raise your arm lower from then on.
