hey guys, what do you all think of this product. i'm looking to purchase sum casein protein because i just cant buy enough cattage cheese to adequately suit my needs. plus storage would be easier.

here's the info on reflex's micellar casein protein

Serving size: 45g
Amount per serving:

Energy 160Kcal
Protein 36
Carbohydrates 1.8
Fat 0.7
Sodium 36mg
Calcium 950mg

80% micellar casein, 20% whey

it has the highest protein per serving ratio i can find. but it contains aspartame and phenylalanine, which kinda concerns me. any suggestion would be appreciated, thanks!

I used to use reflex's casein protein, it does taste a little chalky but the main thing was price. If you find a custom blend protein place they can put some casein protein together without the bad things that some major label companies put in, also its loads cheaper.

oh! The best thing to make a shake taste better are those "Emergen-C" packets that are like 1,000 mg of vit C and I se the ones that also have gucosaimne and condroitin and the lite ones are sugar free, but they are fizzy a lil and citricy, add them to a vanilla protein and it tastes like orange julius. YUM! can't live without them anymore.

cottage cheese or farmers cheese are still your best choices.

yeah i know, i love cottage cheese, but i can't buy enough of it to last. i literally buy every last cup of cottage cheese from my supermarket everytime i visit.

does anyone know of any custom blend protein places? preferable UK based.

i might order the reflex casein in the meanwhile, but the aspartame phenylanaline still concerns me.

If you go through cottage cheese fast, then it should also make sense that you would go through the casien protien powder fast....unless of course your just eating that cottage cheese like candy. Which just disturbs me....eeek!

In the end Cottage Cheese is still cheaper i think.
