ok guys. I really wanna get big. But it seems my job wont give me just a 2 minute break to guzzle down a shake. I usually work 5 hours as a time and since its not 5 hours 1 minute, I dont get a break. They won't allow me to eat on the job whatsoever. So what am I supposed to do to get 6 meals in a day. I want to gain mass please someone help me out. Maybe eat every hour or bigger meals or what? Thanks.

Try a shake made of oats and whey. Just put your oats and whey in a shaker bottle add water and guzzle.

If your shift is 5hrs they must surly allow you a few mins to go to the mensroom **cough**eat**cough** lol.

If however they put a chain around your ankle and you really cant get away even for a few mins then go for something like cottege cheese+oats before your shift and have a meal as soon as your finished. After that you would prob need to eat every 1.5-2 hours to get your basic "6" meals a day in.

Setup your eating so that you finish a meal right before you walk in. Then have a high cal meal replacement like Musclemilk midway through your shift. That'll take about 1 minute to down. Also pack a meal to eat as soon as you get out. This way you eat every 2-3 hours. Where there's a will, there's a way

yo, tactical, i have the same problems with my job and have been wanting to ask the same question. my problem is the morning. i have more than enough time to eat breakfast, but cannot not eat again for at least four hours. should i incoorporate cottage cheese into my breakfast? or should i have whey, eggs and oats? right now i have a whey shake on my hour commute (6am) and then have eggs and oats right before i start work (7:15). this doesn't seem to be enough to hold me until 11 when i can eat. any suggestions? i am bulking BTW and eat pretty clean monday - friday. all help is greatly appreciated!!!!

maybe have a glass of milk between those meals?

Or make some Oat/whey/PB flapjacks and nible on them when you can.

that's the problem. i cannot eat at all during this 4 hour period. that is why i thought i should "load up" when i can or maybe eat cottage cheese instead of eggs or whey. i can eat immediately after this 4 hour period, i just need to get through it with out starving!!!

incidentally, this is why i changed my lifting to the evenings. this way i have the proper pre and post workout nutrition. thanks!

Eating every four hours instead of every three isn't going to kill you. Try and make your meals slightly larger than normal before and after your shift to hold you over.
