But I did make it to bathroom stall in time AND I went back and finished my routine with Barbell HackSquats, DB Lunges and some pretty decent calf work. Needless to say I'm feeling pretty hardcore this afternoon. /forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Nothing at all personal here, but I believe vomiting is actually bad for you. Correct me if I am wrong, but if you vomit you lose all your food and water (nutrients) inside your stomach which you have eaten, so then you will have no energy left for the rest of the workout. This will have a negitive effect on your training.
So yer, thats my two cents....

Swallow back that vomit!! /forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Try to eat 1 and a half hours before a workout.
Squats are hardcore and really tax your system, but you can hold the food in if you try.

I sometimes feel the need to let some go as well, especially after a hardcore leg day!
Way to be hardcore!

Sorry, but that isn't something I'd be proud of.
Felt nautious often but never actually puked. I haven't puked in years. I don't want to dissapoint Seinfeld and break my record now!

Guess it is like a battle scar...that doesn't actually leave a scar /forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif. I don't know, last think I want to do is puke. I get nautious quite often but puking doesn't come easy for me.

I never said there was a correlation. This is the first time it's ever happened in many years of lifting so I'm not exactly worried about it. I felt fine afterward so it was probably just something not sitting right.
And it's NOT the puking I'm proud of. It's the fact that I went back and finished my workout after.

How dare you waste precious nutrients. You should have lapped the puke up off the floor...then continued with your workout! Blasphemy!

I agree. How DARE you waste food that people on a cut such as myself would be VERY happy to keep right in our stomachs. Shame on you! /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Indeed, puking is actually very catabolic.

The only time I puked was on a leg day when I was working out with a personal trainer. He changed my workout up completely and I was doing twice as many reps on different exercises then I was used to. Basically, I went a lot harder then I thought was possible.
With that said, I don't aim to puke now and I hope it never happens again. I was wearing a hat that day so I think that might have had something to do with it.
I think the corrilation is that you usually have to push yourself pretty hard to make your body want to puke, IF you haven't ate within 2 hours and you aren't sick.
Anyways, good job pushing yourself hard but try to figure out what it was that made you puke. Did you eat too soon before you worked out? Did you have too many clothes on to make yourself overheat? Was it hotter in the gym then usual? Did you drink enough water throughout your workout? etc...
