so how many of you guys use these "ENERGY DRINKS" for cardio, working out or any exercise, do they work, and in your opinion, which one is the best?

Sometimes I use RedBull if I'm tired before a workout. It seems to work good.
If you need anything take a caffeine pill and don't do it on a regular basis.
Stay away from energy drinks. Red Bull has loads of sucrose and glucose and the one that is unsweetened contains Aspartame. Stay away.

Cytomax, Accelerade, Carbo-Pro are all very good products.

All these drinks are, are some kind of combination of fructose, sucrose, malodextrin, dextrose.
In no way do these make up a proper pre-workout meal. They also defy the proper ratio for a post workout shake. In short, no they are not good products.

I'm dropping them when I go on my bulk. If I need an energy boost before workout, I'll just use a pill. How do you guys feel about EAS Termogenic that is part green tea extract and part caffeine?

how are they when it comes to doing cardio workouts? Do they help to keep up the energy levels while running?
I have to agree with caffiene pills other than energy drinks because energy drinks are full of sugar and/or aspartame so i'd agree with "stay away."

yeah - ive heard that for a typical BB'ers cardio session drinking energy drinks is counter productive to the calories we are trying to burn (to a certain extent - as they will be 'burned' too).. so I jusr go for water and do my usual PWO
Red Bull is very high in all the usual things these drinks contain. The issue of a high level of Taurine was a topic of debate for some time when they first came out - but there are other Guarana based versions like 'V' etc. Caffeine makes me need to urinate alot and conflicts with creatine a little anyways so I stopped with the Red Bulls after a while...
Hope this helps

use nothing. good diet and workouts will give you all the energy you need. try not to be dependant on a pill or substance for your energy. you will ultimately be stronger in the long run.

If your looking to stay hydrated just drink water. Energy drinks in my opinion are crap. For energy, having a good diet like Brothaman said is all you need.
