Its not essential in the scence u wont get big without it, L-glutamine is found in some foods so ur getting it anyway. If you can afford it then id add it however id put whey/malt/dex ahead of it if ur on a budget.

Its part of the package mate... there is no 'silver bullet' that will gain you mass - there are a hundred different elements (some of which are specific to your body type etc) that will head you in the right direction.

If you are serious, L-Glutamine is essential. But only on top of a good diet + whey and probably creatine.

Training is the other huge aspect (use compound exercises, use shocking techniques, and GO HARD). Along with good rest etc

Hey, it takes time. Im over a year in training and am literally a novice to my own body! Read as many articles here are you can / be consistent and motivated / post if you need help - there are many experienced people here!

iv allready read it. i was just saying in referance to my age. but i can afford it tho.

i have the money to get whey, malto (still need the cheapest site! please offer a link!) dex, L-glutamine (suprisingly not that expensive tho, i can get it for 20£ for a 1/3 of a year supply ---- good or bad?) and possibly, very possibly creatine. but i really doubt it. but im putting whey first ofcourse.

anything i should add to my arsenal?

I see you live in England, I order from http://www.myprotein.co.uk/

I have found them to be cheapest supply of supplements. I just ordered over 50lbs of whey other week. /forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

L-glutamine is a great supplement, one of the few on the market that does what it should. However, at your age I would be more concerned with diet, training form, consistency and overall knowledge( read our articles! ).

i suppose rather than making a new thread i can ask here, well what can you substitue salmon with?

also in the 24 workout diet... can you also eat your fruit and the normal stuff you'd eat?

i know alot of questions. but can you substitue cottage cheese with anything? because it really makes me feel sick.

and 90 grams of whey a day? i REALLY cant afford that, can i just stick to my pwo shake? i could just eat a big protein sorce in the morning rather than a shake. is this possible?

and a substitue for leafy green stir fry? because i dont want to be eating the same stuff everyday eh?

but thanx seski, im going to try and make it today.

if the salmon is say 500 calories like he said, can i just find something that would give me the same?

how can i build my diet around that table. like how can i subsitute etc.

thanx for help

Tuna and flax oil would be as good as samon. If u order the whey from that site I posted it works out to be about £12 a month for 3 shakes a day.

Sure mate, I use the Whey Concentrate 80 protein. The reason its so cheap is cuz its bulk orders. I also got mine with no flavour to save money further. However you can add flavour(its about a couple pounds more). U can order as little as 1kg all way up to what ever you want(there are discounts the more you order). I was spending abt £150 a month on supplements now I am spending £60 a month for everything(whey/l-glutamine/creatine/zma/multi vits/malt/dex etcetc).

well, say if i bought a kilo, would that last me a month? i have no trouble payin that a month at all, or did u do a BIG bulk order? if so, can u recommend it?

also, if its not to much trouble, may i ask how much is your l-glutamine? thankyou

1kg would last for 33 shakes if u were using 30g a shake. if you ordered 3kg that would be 90 shakes a months(3 per day)...the more you order the more you save. I ordered in bulk(over 20kg of whey). L-glutamine is £24 for 1kg..that would last you a few months(again I ordered in bulk and got 2kg and saved a 10er).

Hi,

I am a big fan of Udo's Oil.

For protein I mainly have it after training and at times when it is a pain to eat real food.

Cheers,

For protein? Oils are fats not proteins. It also doesn't substitute for real food, there is only 1 macronutrient hence not a complete meal. Also, when you say u take it after your workout do u mean directly after? If you do then that is the worst thing you ca do. Read this: http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/windowofopportunity.php

Whey protein's usually have Glutamic Acid in it don't they? In the body they are turned into Glutamin.....

Correct me if I am wrong /forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif
