View Full Version : Post workout extra GH release(w/ shower)

I was wondering I know that if done soon enough you receive a GH bonus from using a hot tube or hot shower post workout. And I was wondering for those of us who do not have access to a hot tube how we should go about doing it with a shower. Is it necessary to manually target the areas trained for the GH benefit? As opposed to just taking a hot shower and not paying attention to where the water sprays.

an hour after training? (to allow insulin spike to dissapate?)

right after with your protien shake?

I believe directly after your workout is the ideal time. I keep reading stories of guys sipping on their PWO shakes in the shower haha. I take mine in the sauna with me.

When I'm feeling achy after lifting I normally go into the steam room for 10-15 mins than thake a shower. Makes me feel a lot better.
